PRE-POST NATAL EXERCISE COACH
Staying active and healthy during and after pregnancy is beneficial to mommy and baby. I have three healthy boys and enjoyed safe exercise throughout all the pregnancies. I have helped numerous women maintain healthy movement and vitality during pregnancy and helped regain the strength and achieve the after-baby body they desire. Many coaches miss key aspects like blood pressure spikes or drops, issues with overtraining, proper core considerations, and changes in dietary needs. We train for birth- which last time I checked was VER physically taxing. After the birth, there are key areas to train in the proper order as your body recovers. Pregnancy can be a wonderfully safe active time and you can have your body back after delivering your bundle of joy.
PRE- POST NATAL DIASTASIS AND CORE SPECIALIST
The word diastasis means separation. The recti muscles are the outermost abdominal muscles. So, it is a separation of the outermost abdominal muscles. A diastasis is caused by continuous stretching in both a forward and sideways direction of the connective tissue that joins the outermost muscles. This stretching is caused by pregnancy, weight gain in the abdominal area, abdominal surgery where they fill the abdominal cavity with air, activities where you arch your back like gymnastics and swimming which flare your ribs, and crossover activities like tennis and golf. Left unaddressed DR can lead to back and hip pain or even an umbilical hernia. In order to have fully functional strong and sexy core muscles after DR, you will need proper rehab.
