EMOTIONAL HEALING
EMOTIONAL HEALING
TAKING BACK CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH.
Individuals, couples, or families can benefit from emotional therapy. Often, clients are dealing with anger, fear, loss of trust, or sense of betrayal in their life and are not sure how to process these emotions in order to move forward. Traumatic events often shatter the basic assumptions we hold about ourselves, others, and the world. After experiencing trauma, we may start to view ourselves as powerless and weak or bad, others as harmful or unhelpful and therefore not to be trusted or relied on for protection, and the world as unsafe, unpredictable, unjust or lacking in meaning. Physically, trauma can overwhelm our bodies, and the result can be chronic overstimulation of the nervous system with our bodies constantly on the alert for danger. Many people are having trouble coping with their own illness or that of a child. Couples often benefit from therapy in order to rebuild trust, reignite passion, learn healthier communication patterns, and work through issues that unaddressed lead to either a mediocre unhappy and unfulfilling life or the dissolving of the relationship. The belief system and mindset you bring to your life and relationships can create harmony or discomfort. Therapy also helps in depression or loss of life’s purpose.
By working together to look at your life story from a different perspective, you can create the life and the person you desire. I believe that once someone learns how to process emotions, set boundaries, love themselves as they would love others, and communicate expectations- then magic happens and suddenly life is much more vibrant.
